Dream Board

Dream Board

You may have heard others mention setting their goals with visual images and inspirational typography. This method is sometimes referred to as creating  a vision board or dream board.  Nu Skin encourages our burgeoning leaders to create their own boards to inspire and clarify their business goals. We know that when distributors take time to carefully determine and record their dreams visually they are more likely to frequently reflect and focus on their personal goals. Dream boards can serve as additional incentive in your goal-setting process and help shape the positive decisions you make in the beginning of your business.

Specify your Dream

We find it helpful to parse and place your dreams into discrete categories; this helps make your dreams more precise and achievable, while providing you with specific direction in your overall goal-setting.

Additionally, displaying your goals all together helps reinforce the way your goals work synergistically in achieving your dreams. Embracing the theme of becoming fit in all aspects of your life, Nu Skin North America encourages our distributors to set goals in the following areas:

Socially Fit: Being involved in your community and Nu Skin social initiatives (Force for Good, Nourish the Children, Ambassador Program, etc…) and defining the impact you will have, as a result.

Physically Fit: Set measurable goals in achieving a healthier, trimmer, and younger-feeling you.

Financially Fit: Determine your “big picture” dreams and what you hope to accomplish with your wealth & success.

Organizationally Fit: Decide which specific business benchmarks you are going to strive for (group volume amounts, pin title advancement, the number of accounts you will sponsor, etc…).

The words printed as watermarks in each section of the dream board below can serve as additional inspiration for your goals and pictures.

“What am I hoping for myself physically? What am I hoping for myself spiritually? What am I hoping for myself financially? … if you post those as pictures, just images on a board and you look at them every day… when you look at them, you can remember why’re you working, why you still feel good when you get a no… you look at those things and realize that those things are achievable. ”
